- Business Visa advised
A visa issued to conduct trade or business-related matters in the visa-issuing country or any other business-related activities. In some countries, this visa may also encompass permanent employment permissions.
- Tourist Visa advised
A visa intended for travel for tourism purposes. It does not involve any business activities during the travel.
- Retirement Visa advised
A visa type that some countries issue to a person who can prove that they have sufficient income from a foreign country, not including the visa-issuing country and that income has to sustain their living. In addition, These individuals do not decide to work anymore, and the visa holders often have age restrictions.
- Marriage Visa advised
A visa allows a couple married, whether men or women, the spouse of a citizen of that particular country to travel to and permanently reside in the spouse’s country as a family member.
- Student Visa advised
A visa that grants permission to study in the country where the student visa is issued under certain stipulated conditions. In some countries, a tourist visa might be used as a substitute. Student visas can be divided mainly into two types:
1. Student visitor: Duration ranges from 0 to 1 year. This is for students wanting to study for a short term of no longer than 1 year.
2. Tier 4 visa: For students intending to study longer than 1 year.
- Student Visa advised
A visa indicates that an individual is permitted to work temporarily in that country under the terms specified in the visa. This type of Visa is difficult to issue due to many processes. However, it often has a longer validity than a business visa.
Notification of Stay
Over 90 Days advised
Foreign nationals who are allowed temporary residence in the Kingdom, If they stay in the Kingdom for over 90 days, must report their residential address to the immigration office every 90 days. This is under Section 37(5) of the Immigration Act B.E. 2522 (1979). The foreign national can proceed as follows:
1. Foreigners report in person.
2. Foreigners assign another person to report on their behalf as a document.
3. Foreigners may send the document via registered mail.
4. Foreigners report in online system’s.
For those who report in person, the required documents are as follows:
1. Passport
2. Departure Card (TM.6)
3. Previous notification document of stay over 90 days (if any).
4. Fill out the TM.47 form with a signed signature.
For foreign nationals residing in Bangkok they can report in person or assign another person to submit the document at the Immigration Division, Chalermprakiat Government Complex, Building B (2nd Floor, South Wing), Chaengwattana Road, Thung Song Hong Sub-District, Laksi District, Bangkok.
Foreign nationals who have the following visa types obtained in Thailand must report every 90 days at the immigration office:
1. Business Visa (Non-B)
2. Work Visa (Non-B)
3. Retirement Visa (Non-O)
4. Marriage Visa (Non-O)
5. Dependent Visa (Non-O)
6. Volunteer Visa (Non-O)
